This 2 week - (option to combine with blended basic training) is a great way to acquire or strengthen the base knowledge and understanding of the work on Deck, and therefore is the perfect course to start a professional deckhand/seafarer ‘s career on Superyachts.

Theory is always followed by practice, making this class very practical and efficient, and giving the student the necessary tools to deal with real life situations. Each week brings new topics and emphasizes on the critical parts of the job, such as Safety and Navigation.

At the end of the deck course, successful students will also receive a USCG rating certified recognized Worldwide. Crew receive all the classroom knowledge (including simulator practice) and obtain the official testing to automatically acquire the USCG Rating Forming Part of a Navigational Watch (RFPNW) qualification. Certificate holders will have the advantage of standing out to yacht recruiters and owners in the industry and work on larger yachts. The course is taught by instructors with decades of deep sea navigation experience on multiple types of ships.
